# Interkom

> Interkom is a private Slack alternative — a social network for your company. It brings team chat, channels, 24-hour stories, presence, reactions and voice notes into one workspace-scoped space with no public feed and no strangers. Messages and files are end-to-end encrypted. Native iOS and macOS apps, plus the web.

Interkom is built by Interkom Labs. Each company runs its own workspace at its own URL, with a separate profile per workspace. It is designed as a calmer, more private alternative to Slack and other team-chat tools.
